So my e-mail has been going off the hook about people adding me on myspace and facebook. I hadn’t really given it much thought actually but today I came to the library to see what I had been missing. I think I’ve enjoyed being at the library, hanging out with my roommate, and writing this blog more than I’ve enjoyed my facebook. Its not that I mind talking to friends and I guess if I think about it I do miss them. I just hadn’t thought about it. Wierd I guess. I ran a lot today. I’ll run a lot tomorrow. Another day another dollar.

Free Lunch
There’s no such thing as a free lunch. No one will give you money for lunch without expecting something in return. This little stupid piece of advice has made people everywhere paranoid. There may not be such a thing as a free lunch but there are pretty darn cheap lunches. Eating lunch with your boss to learn about your workfield is pretty darn cheap. Heck that’s almost like being paid to go to lunch. Your boss expects you to go out of obligation. Hey! They make the paychecks sounds good by me. Plus if your boss knows a lot and you respect them you can learn from them while you eat. Oh wait that’s almost exclusive to the Army. Too bad for the rest of you.
The Image of Coffee
I got a cup of coffee today. First I’ve had in about a week and a half. You have to wonder sometimes how many places the coffee machine has frequented. The etiquette of coffee about how you always make a new pot when you finish off the old one. The coffee table is like an American tradition. The coffee machine sits with creamer and sugar to its right. Spoons or coffee filters are on the right hand side and although there are small styrofoam cups real coffee veterans use their own. Me personally? I use my puprle nato bosnia cup. Maybe some day that cup will freqent as many rooms as there have been coffee machines…but I don’t think so.
